Hanover Win and 100 Point HHS Career Milestone

In a hard fought game Hanover won 3-2 against the visiting team from upstate NY. Hanover opened the scoring finding the back of the net off a pad save rebound. The second goal, a breakaway off a turnover was Maeve Lee’s 100th career point. Hanover scored again during the 2nd period with a one timer off a saucer pass through the five-hole. The team played with remarkable stamina given their decreased numbers. The defensive squad played a great game containing and thwarting the opponent. Beekmantown struck back in the 3rd period scoring twice making it close. Hanover held them off with outstanding goaltending throughout, saving 22 shots to take the win. Great teamwork Hanover!

Next up is an away game against Concord tomorrow night, bus leaves at 5:30pm. There is a storm headed our way so this game may be affected. We will keep you posted with any changes!
