Win in Andover, 2-0; Cate Wagner Earns Career 100th point

A player with composure, ability to see the ice, a knack for setting up teammates, and a feisty puck battling ethos,  Cate Wagner, #10, made the 100 point milestone in the Andover game this evening.

Cliffhanger game for all three periods until the very very end. All lines worked hard and did not give up, lending pressure on every shift.  We dominated in shots but had no net success until the last two minutes when two Marauders lit the lamp, one after the other, enlivening the stands and delighting Marauder fans. Win, 2-0!

Marauders played it hard with strong competition for three periods. Our defensive group did a great job keeping the puck in our offensive zone, and keeping it out of our net. Our goalie made some important stops for the shut out.

And to top off the evening success, Junior forward Cate Wagner achieved a milestone career 100th  point with a beautifully placed tape to tape pass to assist on the second goal. Congratulations, Cate!

Next game is the make-up vs. Manchester Central, at home, this Friday, I believe 8:40 PM.
