Concord, Saturday Jan. 14th @ 3:50 PM at Campion

The Marauder girls were back at home on Saturday afternoon to face-off against perennial contender, Concord’s Crimson Tide.  At 3-1-0, Concord has a different head coach on their bench for the first time in many years, with Stacy Boudrias replacing Tom Ackerson.

3-2 win.

After a bit of a slow start (tied at 1 after one and down by 1 after two), the Marauders turned it up in the third, scoring two unanswered goals and controlling play in the offensive end…to surge ahead for the 3-2 lead.  Hanover out-shot Concord 41 to 20 (35 to 9 over the last two periods.)

Tessa Hill reached the 100 career point marked by assists on Maddie Dewhirst’s tying goal and Madison Hill’s (shorthanded) game winner in the third.  All three members of the Black Line have now scored more than 100 high school career points!

Great finishing effort against a good team.  Exam week next…then STD at home, after Special Olympics, on Saturday.
